Job summary

Wild Birds Unlimited of Arlington – Randol Mill Rd is seeking a Part-Time Sales Associate (15-20 hrs per week) with a passion for nature to join our retail team. You should have experience in retail sales, provide excellent customer service, and be eager to learn in a team-friendly environment.

This role involves greeting customers, advising on bird feeding and nature products, assisting with stocking, inventory, and e-commerce shipping, with flexible shifts including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail sales and customer service preferred.
• Must be able to lift 20-50 lbs repeatedly.
• Flexible schedule including openings, closings, weekends, holidays.
• Willingness to learn and engage with customers; not just a cashier.
• Comfortable with computers and POS training provided.
• Drama-free.

Responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding customer service: greet and assist customers, and provide expert advice on bird feeding, birdwatching, and nature-related products.
• Assist in backroom stocking, taking inventory, jugging seed, and maintaining cleanliness of the front and back.
• Assist in e-commerce shipping.
• Deliver high-energy customer service.
