Franklin County Municipal Court in Columbus, OH seeks a Batterer's Intervention Program (BIP) Specialist for the Pretrial and Probation Services department. This full-time role coordinates and delivers BIP and CBT programming to the justice-involved population.

You will develop curriculum, supervise and document sessions, and maintain accurate records while collaborating with judges, staff, and community partners.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in criminal justice, criminology, corrections, psychology, or related field.
• One (1) year of experience facilitating a curriculum and managing an educational or therapeutic program.
• Willingness to be trained in Duluth and Emerge BIP models.
• Willingness to be trained in CBT curricula such as T4C, ACT, and DP.
• Demonstrate leadership skills and ability to interact effectively with diverse audiences.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and strong time-management.

Aufgaben

• Promote, model, and abide by the Vision, Mission, policies, and procedures of the Probation Department.
• Deliver the Batterer's Intervention Program (BIP) within the Probation Department.
• Deliver CBT programming as needed.
• Contribute to development of curricula to support evidence-based practices.
• Maintain accurate, current documentation and records.
• Complete weekly and monthly reports in accordance with policy.
• Attend conferences, seminars, and trainings to stay current with initiatives.
