Job summary

Takeda's Biotherapeutics Process Development Co-op will perform hands-on cell culture experiments and run studies across upstream unit operations such as bench-top bioreactors, Ambr, shake flasks, and WAVE bioreactors. You will document work, analyze data, and prepare summaries to support process optimization.

The role is fully onsite in Lexington, MA, spanning roughly 6 months, with opportunities to learn system controls and participate in team-driven development of biotherapeutic processes.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant scientific or engineering field.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to learn new techniques and manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Execute and monitor cell culture experiments with upstream unit operations (bench-top bioreactors, Ambr, shake flasks, WAVE).
• Operate and monitor bioprocess equipment using DeltaV or similar systems.
• Prepare media, feeds, and buffers; maintain accurate electronic lab notebooks.
• Perform basic data analysis, summarize results, and communicate findings.
