About the Department
The Biotechnology Program ( BIT ) at NC State University provides state-of-the-art, laboratory-based education in molecular biotechnology to undergraduate and graduate students, as well as to faculty, staff, and life science professionals across the Research Triangle Park ( RTP ) area. As a central hub for molecular biotechnology training on campus, the program is responsible for leading, coordinating, and supporting externally funded, campus-wide graduate student training initiatives.
