SCHEDULE: 7PM to 7AM - Rotating Days - Every other weekend

Job Description:

The Manufacturing Associate is responsible for manufacturing therapeutic proteins (API) under cGMP conditions. Responsibilities include executing process recipes, following SOPs, monitoring equipment and processes, performing basic laboratory tasks (such as pH, conductivity, sampling), and conducting routine sanitization to maintain facility and equipment. Associates will gain a basic understanding of cGMP compliance while training under close supervision, demonstrating aseptic techniques in handling products and materials.

• Set up, operate, and monitor production equipment, including CIP and SIP operations, and document production activities in accordance with GMPs and GDPs.
• Attain qualification for assigned tasks and maintain individual training plans.
• Perform material movements, transferring raw materials and chemicals into and out of production areas.
• Maintain facility and equipment through routine cleaning and support 6S programs. Willingness to gown and work in a clean room environment is required.

Administrative tasks include attending shift exchanges and meetings, managing emails, participating in projects, and performing other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent; AS/BS degree preferred.
• Preferred studies in science-related fields, including Genetics.
• Prior experience in cleanrooms, laboratories, or sterile settings is preferred.
• Experience with aseptic techniques and gowning procedures is preferred.
• Experience in manufacturing within a cGMP setting, especially in Cell and Gene Therapy, is desirable.
• Ability to follow documentation procedures in a regulated industry.
• Strong decision-making, critical thinking, and communication skills.
