Job Description: Manufacturing Associate

Shift Details: 12 HOUR SHIFTS - NIGHTS 7PM-7AM

NIGHT Shift Rate: $27.00

The Manufacturing Associate is responsible for the manufacturing of therapeutic proteins (API) under cGMP conditions. Associates are expected to execute process recipes, follow written procedures (SOPs), monitor equipment and processes, perform basic laboratory tasks (including pH, conductivity, sampling), and conduct routine sanitization tasks to maintain facility and equipment. They should attain a basic understanding of cGMP compliance during training, demonstrate aseptic techniques, and ensure proper handling of products and materials.

1. Set up, operate, and monitor production equipment, including CIP and SIP operations, and document production activities in accordance with GMPs and GDPs.
2. Attain qualification for all assigned tasks and maintain individual training plans.
3. Perform material movements, transferring raw materials and chemicals into, out of, and across production areas.
4. Maintain facility and equipment through routine cleaning and support 6S programs. Willingness to gown and work in a clean room environment is required.
5. Complete administrative tasks such as attending shift exchanges, meetings, emailing, and participating in projects.
6. Perform other duties as assigned.

Preferred Backgrounds: Candidates with backgrounds in manufacturing combined with a scientific degree, or relevant experience/courses in science, have been successful. Examples include:

• Food service, cooks (following recipes)
• Pharmacy technicians
• Mechanical aptitude, robotics, computer skills (especially as automation increases)
• EMTs, tech support
• Roles requiring following SOPs, guidelines, and industry regulations
