Job summary

Mineralys Therapeutics, Inc. seeks a Vice President, Corporate Communications to lead external and internal communications as it transitions from clinical-stage to commercial-stage.

This senior role will shape the corporate narrative, manage media relations, and oversee brand governance in a fully remote environment. The role partners with the Executive Team and Investor Relations to align communications with strategic objectives, supports earnings materials, and leads a growing communications

Qualifications

• 15+ years of progressive corporate communications experience in biotech/pharma.
• Experience leading a communications function, ideally as the first senior leader.
• Publicly traded company experience across development-stage to commercial milestones.
• Experience across the full product lifecycle including clinical data disclosure, regulatory milestones, and product launches.
• Familiarity with biotech investor and healthcare media landscape.
• Internal communications and change management capability in a fast-growing organization.
• Proven issues and crisis management experience with executive coaching.

Responsibilities

• Own the enterprise communications strategy aligned to corporate objectives and launch readiness milestones.
• Define the corporate narrative and core messaging; ensure consistency across audiences and channels.
• Establish the communications operating model, calendars, review pathways, and crisis procedures.
• Oversee external communications including press releases, media statements, and campaigns.
• Build relationships with healthcare, trade, and financial media; coach executives for media interactions.
• Lead communications for milestones such as clinical data readouts, regulatory actions, launches, and business development.
