Job summary

Bristol Myers Squibb RayzeBio seeks a Vice President and Assistant General Counsel to lead the legal function and serve on the LT. Based in San Diego, CA, you will ensure regulatory compliance, manage risk, and guide strategic negotiations across the organization.

You'll oversee contracts, partnering with cross-functional teams, and collaborate with the BMS Law Department on IP, data privacy, regulatory and GXP issues in a fast-paced biotech environment.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctorate from a U.S. accredited institution.
• Experience advising and negotiating complex BD, collaboration, partnership or licensing agreements.
• Experience serving on senior management teams and advising boards on legal matters.
• Strong drafting, negotiation, communication and analytical skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Advise President and leadership on key risks impacting business operations.
• Lead legal support for supply chain, clinical trials, regulatory issues and commercialization capabilities.
• Negotiate, draft and review a broad range of contracts including clinical trial agreements and licensing.
• Collaborate with functional leads and the BMS Law Department on IP, data privacy, regulatory and GXP issues.
