Qualifications

• PhD or equivalent in biology, bioengineering, chemistry or related fields.
• 2+ years post-PhD in research, technology, startups, or similar fast-moving settings.
• Strong scientific curiosity and creativity.
• Genuine passion for innovation and venture creation.

Responsibilities

• Explore white spaces and identify frontiers in biology and technology.
• Hypothesize and stress-test venture hypotheses with rapid experiments.
• Design venture blueprints including technical thesis and go-to-market approaches.
• Shape new companies and lead early-stage ventures.
• Collaborate across disciplines to fuse technical insights with market potential.
• Synthesize insights for Flagship’s venture creation process.
