Job summary

Dispatch Biotherapeutics, Inc. is seeking a Director, Talent Acquisition to lead end-to-end hiring across research, development, and corporate functions. You will scale our recruiting function and partner with leadership to attract exceptional talent.

Reporting to the Chief People & Culture Officer, you will manage a small team, collaborate with external partners, and shape strategy, processes, and tools, including AI-enabled recruiting while keeping human judgment at the center.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of recruiting experience in biotech or life sciences.
• Proven success in senior/executive searches across scientific and corporate roles.
• Experience building scalable TA functions in startups or high-growth environments.
• Strong understanding of compensation (base, bonus, equity) for offers.
• Experience selecting external partners and managing recruiting budgets.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end hiring from application to offer.
• Partner with hiring managers on role definition and sourcing strategy.
• Develop interview guides, scorecards, and interviewer training.
• Create a thoughtful candidate experience throughout the process.
• Lead AI-enabled recruiting initiatives while keeping human judgment central.
• Manage recruiting systems and metrics (Greenhouse, Rippling) and report results.
