Job summary

Neumora is seeking an experienced SEC Reporting and Accounting Manager in Watertown, MA to lead quarterly and annual reporting, month-end close for R&D activities, and internal controls. You will partner with FP&A, Legal, HR, and Clinical Operations to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with U.S.

GAAP and SOX. Responsibilities include preparing 10-Q/10-K, managing complex accruals, and supporting audits and disclosures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred.
• 5–8+ years of progressive accounting experience in biotech or life sciences.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting.
• Experience with SOX compliance and month-end close.
• Experience with NetSuite or similar ERP.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare Form 10-Q, Form 10-K and related reports as needed.
• Manage monthly R&D accrual process and analyses.
• Prepare journal entries, reconciliations and schedules for trial costs.
• Support SEC reporting and disclosures as applicable.
• Assist with audits and strengthen internal controls.
