Job summary

Abzena is seeking a Production Services Associate I to support both downstream and upstream production in a cGMP manufacturing environment. You will help prepare buffers and media, clean/maintain the facility, and assemble equipment kits to support manufacturing operations.

The role requires adherence to cGMP and SOPs, with responsibilities across equipment setup, documentation, and safe handling of materials. A flexible schedule may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• 0–2 years of experience in manufacturing production.
• Knowledge and understanding of cGMPs.
• Experience using single-use technologies and disposable systems.
• Ability to compute basic arithmetic operations: addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex tasks in accordance with cGMP.
• Operate and maintain production equipment with single-use materials (buffers/media).
• Clean and sanitize the cleanroom and controlled areas regularly.
• Stock supplies and manage materials as directed.
• Document task completion per SOPs and Batch Records.
• Support flexible shift schedules as needed.
• Assist production schedules and multi-project activities.
• Cross-train on Upstream/Downstream cGMP manufacturing.
