Job summary

Vericel Corporation in Burlington, MA is hiring an Associate Production Scheduler to support daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules across Cambridge and Burlington sites. You will prepare and communicate the next-day schedule, analyze demand and capacity, and collaborate with the Scheduling Supervisor on planning exercises.

The role requires coordinating with Manufacturing, Quality, and Materials, leveraging ERP/APS tools, and proposing schedule changes within approved parameters.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, life sciences, or related field with 1–2 years of relevant experience; or associate degree/biotech certificate with 2–3 years; or high school diploma with 4–5 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with ERP/MES/CRM or scheduling systems; Dynamics 365, MFG/Pro, SAP, OpCenter Execution Pharma, or OpCenter APS preferred.
• Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, finalize, and communicate the next-day production schedule for assigned product lines and activities.
• Develop weekly and monthly production plans across Cambridge and Burlington sites.
• Analyze demand, capacity, resources, materials, and cross-functional dependencies to support scheduling decisions.
• Resolve routine scheduling conflicts within established parameters and propose changes.
• Support capacity/resource models, run scenario analyses, and provide data-driven recommendations.
• Monitor schedule execution and recommend recovery options for deviations.
