Qualifications

• Minimum six years of intellectual property experience preferred.
• Candidate should be registered with the USPTO and hold a Ph.D. in Biotechnology, Biotechnology Engineering, or related field.
• Experience with global patent prosecution, portfolio management, licensing and technology transactions, and due diligence for M&A.

Responsibilities

• Lead global patent prosecution and portfolio management for assigned technologies.
• Advise on licensing and technology transactions and perform due diligence for mergers and acquisitions.
• Articulate legal strategies and action plans under pressure while managing multiple projects.
• Collaborate with Healthcare, Life Sciences & Education unit and other offices; eligible for state bar admission where required.
