Job summary

Amgen is seeking a Manager Manufacturing (Downstream) for night shift at its Holly Springs, NC facility. You will lead 12-hour on-floor manufacturing and supervise a team of associates in a fast-paced, compliant production environment.

You will drive Lean initiatives, coach staff, and partner with QA/QC, regulatory, and engineering to achieve 24/7 production goals while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Pharmacist qualifications are not applicable; this role requires advanced manufacturing leadership and GMP knowledge.
• Options include advanced degrees with significant manufacturing/operations leadership experience.
• Experience leading teams in a cGMP biotechnology/pharma setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise 24/7 manufacturing operations on a 12-hour day/night rotation.
• Coach and develop staff; ensure safety, quality, and GMP compliance on the floor.
• Collaborate with QA/QC, F&E, PPIC, Mfg, PD, Regulatory to meet production goals.
• Lead continuous improvement, CAPAs, and problem resolution in daily operations.
