Job summary

VMRD, Inc. in Pullman, WA seeks a Manufacturing Lab Technician to support the production of diagnostic products. The role involves preparing reagents, manufacturing ELISA kits, maintaining quality standards, and documenting work in accordance with procedures.

The candidate will perform culture techniques, protein purification, analytical testing, and equipment calibration while upholding safety and regulatory practices in a fast-paced lab environment.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or GED; biology-related degree preferred.
• Experience in laboratory or manufacturing preferred.
• GMP/GLP/ISO or other quality systems experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow all company policies, SOPs and procedures.
• Prepare laboratory reagents and buffers.
• Package and label finished products.
• Manufacture ELISA kits, including plate coating and optimization.
• Perform cell, viral, bacterial, and other microorganism culture techniques.
• Perform protein purification using chromatography methods.
• Evaluate proteins using BCA assays and spectrophotometric analysis.
• Conduct in-process quality control testing and record-keeping.
• Calibrate, operate, and maintain laboratory equipment.
• Assist with the development and maintenance of SOPs.
• Maintain accurate production and laboratory records.
