Job summary

Actalent is seeking a Laboratory Technician (Biotech) to join a collaborative team in Chaska, MN. You will participate in the complete reagent manufacturing process, including formulation, production, testing and quality verification, using advanced analytical equipment.

The role requires a Bachelor's in a scientific field and at least 3 months of lab experience, with strong SOP discipline and attention to detail.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry, or another related scientific discipline.
Minimum of 3 months of laboratory or industry experience outside of academic coursework.
Experience working with and following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently in a structured environment.

Responsibilities

Independently formulate, fill, test, and package chemical and biological reagent products.
Set up, calibrate, operate, and troubleshoot laboratory instruments and reagent manufacturing equipment.
Perform analytical testing including pH, conductivity, density, and other quality assessments to ensure products meet established specifications.
Conduct raw material testing using HPLC and ICP.
Analyze data, interpret results, and identify potential process or quality concerns.
Follow and maintain FDA QSR, GMP requirements and internal quality standards.
