Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in biology/chemistry, genetics, or related life sciences.
• At least 1 year in an academic or commercial laboratory environment, with equipment, decontamination and maintenance, and waste management experience.
• Familiarity with cellular, molecular, and microbiology techniques.

Responsibilities

• Assist with management of laboratory and facility spaces; support site ordering and maintenance; help with receiving/delivery of resident packages.
• Assist with equipment management: installation, calibration, preventive maintenance, cleaning, decontamination; ensure proper use and training.
• Support on- and off-boarding of residents; conduct safety tours, badge access, initial training, and equipment returns.
• Contribute to building resident community culture in collaboration with site team.
• Assist EHS officer; support safety programs, hazardous waste management, and chemical inventories.
• Provide excellent customer service with high attention to detail.
• Other duties as needed.
