Job summary

Fate Therapeutics is seeking a hands-on IT Support Specialist to provide Tier I and II support across our corporate and laboratory environments at our San Diego headquarters. You will troubleshoot a wide range of technical issues and help keep our technology running smoothly.

The ideal candidate is a strong problem solver, excellent communicator, and team player who thrives in a fast-paced biotech setting and delivers exceptional IT support to all users.

Qualifications

2+ years in desktop or end-user IT support.
Biotech/pharma experience preferred.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in CS/IT.
Strong Windows 11 and Microsoft 365 knowledge.
Familiar with IT service management and ticketing.
Lab systems experience a plus.
Certifications like CompTIA A+/Net+ or ITIL preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide Tier I and II IT support to staff.
Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues.
Manage and document support tickets.
Provision and image Windows workstations and devices.
Support lab equipment and software with vendors as needed.
Maintain endpoint security and access controls.
