Avenzo Therapeutics, Inc. is seeking a Vice President of Information Technology in San Diego to lead enterprise IT, cybersecurity, data analytics and regulatory compliance.

You will report to the CFO and drive an end-to-end IT strategy, governance, and SOX controls while building a scalable technology environment and overseeing Facilities operations. The role requires hands-on leadership, 15+ years in IT leadership within life sciences or regulated industries, and a track record of delivering

Qualifications

• 15+ years of progressive IT leadership experience in life sciences or regulated environments.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute an enterprise IT strategy and multi-year technology roadmap.
• Oversee IT governance, cybersecurity, data privacy, and risk management in a regulated biotech environment.
• Lead AI governance and digital transformation initiatives to improve productivity and decision-making.
• Ensure SOX compliance, internal controls, and financial reporting support.
