Job summary

Hemab is seeking a seasoned VP of Investor Relations & Corporate Communications to run day-to-day IR and to build external and internal communications for a growing biotech. Reporting to the CFO, you will shape IR strategy, own messaging across investors, patients, media, and employees, and collaborate with the CEO and executive team.

Qualifications

• Senior biotech communications leadership experience.
• Ability to translate complex science into clear communications without losing accuracy.
• Experience collaborating with Medical Affairs on data-driven communications.
• Public-company investor relations experience with SEC disclosures and Reg FD.
• Experience advising CEOs/CFOs on communications and investor messaging.

Responsibilities

• Build and lead Hemab's communications function with clear ownership.
• Translate complex science and milestones into compelling communications for patients, physicians, employees, media and investors.
• Set corporate narrative and forward calendar for proactive messaging.
• Oversee day-to-day investor relations with CFO, refine IR calendar and materials.
• Develop earnings communications, corporate presentations, SEC communications, and disclosure controls.
• Lead external communications across media and executive channels.
• Create internal communications to align Cambridge and Copenhagen teams during growth.
• Manage external IR and communications partners coordinating with Finance, Legal, Medical Affairs, Patient Advocacy, Clinical and People & Culture.
