Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher in biotechnology, biological sciences, biochemistry, chemistry, biomedical sciences, or a closely related field.
• At least three years of full-time professional experience in biotechnology/biopharmaceutical industry or related teaching experience.
• Hands-on industry experience in cell culture and aseptic technique with biomanufacturing or cell and gene therapy experience.
• Proven ability to teach scientific content and train others in laboratory techniques in industry, academic, or workforce settings.
• Current knowledge of biotechnology lab practices and regulated environments (cGMP/GLP) and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Teach lecture and laboratory sections across the biotechnology curriculum, focusing on cell culture, cGMP, and gene therapy.
• Deliver courses using student-centered, evidence-based instructional practices.
• Prepare syllabi, assignments, grade exams, and hold office hours.
• Offer diverse delivery modes including face-to-face, online, and hybrid, including evenings/weekends.
• Collaborate with industry partners, advisory committees, and participate in governance.
