Job summary

Evercore Inc. in New York is seeking an Equity Research Senior Associate/VP to cover biotechnology and pharmaceuticals.

You will join a highly regarded team in the Americas region, with broad responsibilities across big pharma to small biotech, and significant exposure to investors and industry executives. The role requires a PhD in chemistry/biochemistry, biopharma experience, and the ability to dissect clinical data.

Qualifications

• PhD in Chem, Biochem or similar background in the natural sciences.
• Experience in biopharma industry.
• Ability to dissect clinical data and primary scientific literature.
• Comfortable working investment banking hours (including late nights and weekends).
• Industry experience and/or adjunct finance license/degree a plus.

Responsibilities

• Cover pharmaceuticals and biotech on a top-tier equity research team.
• Dissect and interpret clinical data and literature to inform investment insights.
• Collaborate with colleagues to present research findings to investors and industry executives.
