Job summary

Shirley Parsons is partnering with a Biotechnology Research company to recruit a Head of EHS to lead the safety, health, and environmental strategy across five locations. You will oversee daily EH&S execution, manage compliance documentation, coordinate vendor partnerships, and drive regulatory reporting with regulatory agencies while maintaining operational excellence.

The successful candidate will hold a bachelor's degree in a life science or related field, bring lab or startup experience,

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a life science, environmental science, public health, or related field.
5+ years of EHS experience in Biotechnology or Life Science environments.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Oversee EH&S documentation across all sites, ensuring policies and emergency plans are audit-ready.
Serve as a resource for new member organizations on safety requirements and space planning.
Act as the primary EH&S resource for resident companies, guiding inquiries and directing resources.
Provide training and ongoing support to operations on safety standards and emergency procedures.
