Velocity Clinical Research, Inc. seeks a Client Development Representative, Biotech to drive new leads and top-of-funnel growth within the mid and emerging biotech segment.

This high-output role focuses on outbound prospecting and building relationships with biotech decision-makers to convert conversations into commercial opportunities. You will source, engage, and qualify biotech targets, collaborating with Marketing and the Velocity site network to demonstrate how our capabilities address

Qualifications

• 1-3+ years in inside sales or lead generation in healthcare/B2B sectors.
• Bachelor's degree preferred; life sciences background a plus.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills with scientific audiences.

Responsibilities

• Identify and engage mid-size and emerging biotech companies as new targets.
• Drive outbound activity: calls, emails, LinkedIn, events.
• Qualify inbound leads and route to Field BD reps.
• Collaborate with Marketing on campaigns and account-based marketing.
• Develop authentic relationships with clinical, R&D, and business leaders at target biotechs.
• Articulate Velocity's value proposition and site capabilities to a scientific audience.
• Maintain accurate activity and pipeline records in the CRM.
• Represent Velocity at conferences and webinars as needed.
