Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Life Sciences, Healthcare, Marketing, or related field.
• 5+ years in business development, sales, account management, or related roles.
• 2+ years of progressive leadership experience with accountability.
• Proven success developing client relationships and managing a sales pipeline.
• Experience in biotech/pharma/CRO/SMO or healthcare preferred; strong work ethic matters.

Responsibilities

• Identify and engage mid-size and emerging biotech companies as new targets.
• Build a high-volume pipeline of outbound activity — calls, emails, LinkedIn outreach, and industry touchpoints.
• Develop authentic, consultative relationships with clinical, R&D, and business leaders at target biotech companies.
• Clearly communicate Velocity's value proposition, site network capabilities, and track record to a scientific audience.
• Qualify opportunities and progress them through the pipeline with senior Business Development and Feasibility teams.
• Maintain accurate activity and pipeline records in the CRM.
• Represent Velocity at industry conferences, webinars, and networking events as needed.
• Continuously refine outreach approach based on market feedback and trends.
• Other duties as assigned.
