Vertex Pharmaceuticals Incorporated in Boston is offering a 6-month CASGEVY Change Management Co-Op for students pursuing degrees in Life Sciences, Engineering, or related fields. The role focuses on change control in a regulated quality environment, with exposure to QMS, lifecycle management, and operational excellence.

You will help transmit and track change controls, create AI-guided templates, and contribute to a lean, scalable change control process from idea to closure.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in life sciences, engineering, or related fields.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Interest in quality systems, regulated processes, and operational improvement.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Familiarity with lean Principles or workflow optimization is a plus.
• Interest in AI tools and content standardization.
• Experience with structured data, templates, or documentation systems.
• Authorized to work in the United States; sponsorship not provided for internships/co-ops.
• Enrolled in an advanced degree program if graduating before May 2027.
• Available to work full-time, 40 hours per week, Jan–July 2027.

Responsabilités

• Support change control activities within a regulated quality environment, gaining hands-on experience in QMS and lifecycle management.
• Develop change control templates and AI guidance in line with Vertex SOPs.
• Assist an operational excellence project to design a lean, scalable change control solution from idea to closure.
• Engage with cross-functional teams and document progress through status reports and metrics.
• Collaborate on templates, AI guidance, and master guidelines for compliant documentation.
