Job summary

Sanyou Biopharmaceuticals seeks a results-driven Business Development Lead to expand its U.S. biotech and pharma partnerships, identify out-licensing and collaboration opportunities for antibody discovery and CRO services, and drive deals from first contact to close.

You will work cross-functionally with R&D and project teams, attend major industry events across North America, and help shape the company’s U.S. growth strategy while maintaining a strong client network.

Qualifications

• PhD in Biopharma, Biology, Immunology, Biochemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or related field; new graduates welcome.
• Master’s degree or above with 2+ years in business development, sales, partnerships, licensing, CRO services, or related fields.
• Background in antibody discovery, antibody CRO, biotech, or pharmaceutical companies strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with the U.S. biopharma industry; established client or industry network is a strong plus.
• Strong communication, negotiation, business development, and cross-cultural collaboration skills.
• Fluent in English and proficient in Chinese.
• Self-motivated, commercially driven, and capable of working independently.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with U.S. biotech and pharma companies and drive out-licensing and partnering opportunities.
• Identify potential clients, develop business opportunities, lead commercial discussions, and drive deals from initial contact to contract closure.
• Coordinate with R&D, project management, and other internal teams to ensure smooth project handover and delivery.
• Attend industry conferences and business development events to expand visibility and network in North America.
• Identify opportunities for strategic partnerships, licensing, and co-development.
• Support the development and growth of the U.S. BD business.
