Job summary

n-Lorem Foundation is seeking an experienced Accounting & Payroll Manager to lead accounting, payroll, and related financial operations. Reporting to the Associate Director of Accounting, you will maintain the general ledger, manage month-end close, and ensure compliance with GAAP and internal controls.

You will oversee accounts payable, donor invoicing, vendor management, and payroll processing, collaborating with departments to support program operations and grant compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field required.
• Minimum 3 years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong experience with GAAP compliance and financial audits.
• Proficiency with QuickBooks Online and Paylocity payroll systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform monthly reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
• Prepare and post journal entries; maintain general ledger accuracy.
• Ensure GAAP compliance and internal controls.
• Assist in grant/contract reporting and budgeting analyses.
• Oversee payroll operations and related processes.
