Job summary

eGenesis, Inc is seeking a highly motivated Accounting Manager to lead the day-to-day close process in Cambridge, MA. Reporting to the Controller, you will own the end-to-end close, manage general ledger, payables, accruals, and ensure US GAAP compliance as a public company.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in accounting, public company close experience, Netsuite proficiency, biotech industry familiarity, and a track record building scalable controls and processes in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• Public company close experience required.
• Biotech or life sciences industry experience preferred.
• CPA preferred.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end financial close process (GL, AP, accruals).
• Deliver accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual statements per US GAAP.
• Estimate accruals for R&D and CRO arrangements.
• Support ICFR design and SOX readiness.
• Maintain financial statements and schedules; ensure audit readiness.
• Manage NetSuite as system of record; partner with FP&A.
• Lead a high-performance accounting team.
