Job summary

UNSW is seeking a Post-Doctoral Fellow in Biostatistics and Cancer Epidemiology to work within CCOR E, Ingham Institute, and the South-West Sydney Clinical School. The role focuses on statistical analyses of large administrative datasets and health equity in cancer care.

The appointment is a 2-year fixed term with potential extension, hybrid work arrangements, and a base salary of AU$133k–AU$156k plus superannuation.

Qualifications

• PhD in Biostatistics, Epidemiology, Data Science, or related discipline or equivalent experience.
• Strong data management skills and experience with large linked administrative datasets.

Responsibilities

• Perform statistical analyses of large-scale administrative datasets.
• Examine inequalities in evidence-based cancer care.
• Collaborate with clinicians and researchers to interpret complex data.
