UNSW is seeking a Statistical Consultant (Research) to lead study design, analysis and communication of results within a cross-disciplinary context on research contracts across the university. The role is based in Australia, Kensington, as part of the Stats Central team.

Stats Central is a team of nine statisticians and two bioinformaticians offering UNSW researchers support and training in study design and analysis, as part of the university’s 2025 Strategy. It is based in the Mark Wainwright Analytical Centre in the Division of Research and Enterprise, a centralised unit that manages major research infrastructure at UNSW and provides relevant technical and consulting expertise.
The Statistical Consultant (Research) will provide advice on or lead study design, analysis, and communication of results in a cross-disciplinary context on research contracts with partners around the university.
