Qualifications

• Doctoral degree in biostatistics, statistics, bioinformatics, or a related quantitative field.
• World leader with a distinguished record of methodological and collaborative scholarship.
• Experience leading data coordinating centers for multi-site studies and clinical trials.
• Active track record securing and managing NIH or comparable extramural funding.

Responsibilities

• Provide scientific and administrative leadership for the Division of Biostatistics and Bioinformatics.
• Direct data coordinating center activities for multi-site studies and clinical trials.
• Serve on Data and Safety Monitoring Boards and provide methodological oversight for clinical research.
• Set and execute a vision for graduate and postdoctoral education in biostatistics and bioinformatics.
• Foster collaborative partnerships across Feinberg's research enterprise, including large cohort studies and data science initiatives.
• Secure and manage extramural funding, including leadership roles on program-project or center-type grants.
• Build a well-trained biostatistics and bioinformatics workforce to support national health goals.
