Job summary

The Henry M. Jackson Foundation for the Advancement of Military Medicine, Inc. is seeking a Biostatistician II to provide statistical support for clinical and laboratory research, including HIV studies.

The role supports the Data Coordinating and Analysis Center (DCAC) and involves programming and analysis for observational cohorts and clinical trials. You will work with SAS and R, read protocols, develop analysis plans, and present results in written and visual formats.

Qualifications

• Experience with SAS and R for statistical analyses.
• Experience with large clinical and laboratory datasets.
• Knowledge of mapping raw data to SDTM domains/variables.
• Understanding of medical science and research.
• Strong written and oral communication and ability to manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Program data extraction, listings, statistics, reports, and analytical data sets.
• Read protocols and align programming objectives with study design.
• Assist with statistical analysis plans and safety reports.
• Analyze HIV and other infectious disease study data and report results.
• Perform SAS/R analyses and present results in tables and figures.
• Recommend and implement changes as needed.
• Attend training and perform duties as assigned.
• Maintain current trends in statistical analysis and programming.
