Job summary

The Henry M. Jackson Foundation for the Advancement of Military Medicine seeks a Biostatistician II to provide statistical support for HIV and other infectious disease studies under the DCAC. The role covers programming, analysis, and reporting for clinical trials and observational research.

You will work with SAS and R, contribute to analysis plans, interpret results, and help prepare summaries and visualizations for study reports, while maintaining data quality and regulatory awareness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in statistics/biostatistics/epidemiology with 6–8 years experience, or Master's with 3–5 years.
• Experience with SAS and R.
• Experience with large clinical/laboratory data and CDISC/SDTM mapping.

Responsibilities

• Provide programming for data extraction, logic checks, queries, listings, statistics, reports, and analytic data sets.
• Read protocols and implement design requirements in data management systems.
• Develop statistical analysis plans and safety reports.
• Analyze HIV and infectious disease studies, including trials and cohorts.
• Conduct statistical analyses using SAS and/or R and present results clearly.
• Suggest and implement changes as needed.
• Attend required training and stay updated on methods.
