Job summary

The Biostatistician II within the UW Statistical Data Analysis Center (SDAC) will provide biostatistical insights on study teams supporting Independent Data Monitoring Committees monitoring industry-sponsored clinical trials.

Some work may be performed in-person on campus; other work may be remote offsite. Candidates should have experience in biostatistics, clinical trial design, data safety monitoring, and industry trials.

Qualifications

• Experience in biostatistics and clinical trial design.
• Data safety monitoring and industry clinical trials experience.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Designs and implements statistical methods for research projects.
• Develops research study designs for projects.
• Contributes to preparing manuscripts, presentations, reports and proposals.
• Evaluates, analyzes, and summarizes data using appropriate statistical methods.
