Qualifications

• Master's Degree in biostatistics or MPH with a concentration in biostatistics.
• 3 years experience in statistical consulting, preferably in biomedical/healthcare.
• Proficiency in SAS, SPSS or other major statistical packages and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with investigators to identify problems and provide statistical consultation, including design of experiments or surveys, analysis, interpretation and reporting.
• Writes statistical portions of manuscripts and revises based on reviewers' comments.
• Performs statistical computations and provides graphical and tabular representations.
• Develops, maintains and modifies in-house statistical programs.
• Collaborates on grant development, including statistical design of studies and grant proposals.
• Conveys non-technical explanations and helps researchers clarify research issues.
