Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in Life Sciences, Biological Sciences, Clinical Research, Project Management, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in project management, biospecimen management, laboratory operations, clinical research, or biobanking.
• Experience managing multiple projects with competing priorities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Teams, Outlook, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Manage biospecimen orders from initiation through fulfillment.
• Develop and maintain project timelines, milestones, and priorities for multiple concurrent requests.
• Track project deliverables, identify risks, and elevate issues as needed.
• Document project activities, decisions, corrective actions, and resolutions.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for internal customers regarding biospecimen requests and order status.
• Coordinate with external biorepository vendors to ensure timely fulfillment.
• Maintain operational records and order-tracking documentation.
• Coordinate and support biospecimen shipments while ensuring compliance with shipping procedures.
• Track shipments and resolve logistics-related issues.
• Support documentation and tracking of biospecimen transfers into the biorepository.
