Job summary

Bristol Myers Squibb is seeking a Senior Director, Biospecimen Management to lead the Biospecimen Management organization within Global Development Operations. You will deliver high-quality biospecimen support across BMS-sponsored trials and shape cross-functional capabilities.

This senior role requires 10+ years in drug development, 7+ years leading global teams, and deep knowledge of regulatory, ethical, and operational biospecimen processes.

Qualifications

• 10+ years global experience in clinical drug development with biospecimen management.
• 7+ years leadership experience managing global, cross-functional teams.
• Extensive drug development experience from pre-clinical through clinical trials.
• Experience with central laboratories, data management, and trial operations.
• Experience managing biospecimen management vendors.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a high-performing Biospecimen Management team across trials.
• Oversee biospecimen management leads supporting trials across therapeutic areas.
• Define, track, and report KPIs for capacity and operational effectiveness.
• Partner with leadership on strategic planning and service development initiatives.
• Manage vendor relationships and audits; ensure regulatory compliance.
• Drive process improvements and digitization of biospecimen operations.
