Job summary

Nemours Children's Health is seeking a Clinical Research Technologist I to join our team at the Wilmington, DE site. This role supports the Lung Health Cohort study within the Nemours Biobank and Molecular Analysis Program and involves managing biospecimens and regulatory documents.

Responsibilities include receiving and cataloging biospecimens, preparing shipments, generating reports, budgets, and SOP development with BMAP leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or MT with equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of QC and QA as applied to clinical diagnostic testing.
• Experience with clinical lab procedures in CAP/CLIA-certified labs.
• 1-3 years of experience required.

Responsibilities

• Receives biospecimens from LHC collection sites into the ALA-ACRC biorepository at Nemours BMAP, tracking shipments, cataloguing specimens, and completing paperwork.
• Prepares biospecimens for shipment to investigators under approved protocols, tracks shipments, and completes related paperwork.
• Prepares reports of biospecimens received and shipped as requested.
• Prepares budgets, material transfer agreements, and other regulatory documents; coordinates shared email in baskets.
• Develops SOPs with BMAP leadership, Laboratory Manager, and ALA-ACRC Nemours investigators.
• Orders necessary supplies as requested by BMAP leadership, Laboratory Manager, and ALA-ACRC Nemours investigators.
