Job summary

Nemours is seeking a Clinical Research Technologist I to join the Biobank and Molecular Analysis Program in Wilmington, DE. The role focuses on receipt and storage of biospecimens for the Lung Health Cohort, tracking shipments, and maintaining records for the NIH-funded study.

Responsibilities include preparing biospecimens for shipment, managing regulatory documents and budgets, and developing SOPs with BMAP leadership and investigators.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or MT with equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of QC and QA as applied to clinical diagnostic testing.
• Experience with clinical lab procedures required of a CAP and/or CLIA certified laboratory.
• 1-3 years experience required.

Responsibilities

• Receives biospecimens from LHC sites into the Nemours biorepository and tracks shipments.
• Prepares biospecimens for shipment to investigators under approved protocols and documents related to shipment.
• Prepares reports of biospecimens received and shipped as requested.
• Prepares budgets, material transfer agreements, and other regulatory documents, and coordinates shared email in baskets.
• Develops SOPs with BMAP leadership and investigators, and orders necessary supplies.
