Nemours Children's Health is seeking a full-time Clinical Research Technologist II to join the Biobank and Molecular Analysis Program. The role processes specimens, enters data, ships samples, and supports protocol development under supervision of the Biobank Laboratory Manager.

Requires a Bachelor’s or MT with experience and 3+ years in related lab work. The position emphasizes safety, CAP guidelines, and mentoring new technologists in a collaborative clinical research setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or MT with equivalent experience required.
• 3 years or more of job related experience required.

Responsibilities

• Process a variety of biological specimens (blood, tissue, etc.) and record in databases.
• Perform plasma/serum processing, mononuclear cell extraction and tissue culture as needed.
• Accession and data entry for specimens; manage shipments for clinical trials.
• Maintain safety, SOPs, and assist in SOP writing and protocol development.
• Train new staff and monitor equipment and supplies.
