Job summary

Nemours is seeking a Clinical Research Technologist I to join the Biobank and Molecular Analysis Program in Wilmington, DE. The role supports the Lung Health Cohort study by managing biospecimens, shipments, and regulatory documentation for NIH-funded work.

Responsibilities include receiving, cataloging, and shipping biospecimens, preparing budgets and transfer agreements, and developing SOPs with leadership. A 1–3 year experience range and CAP/CLIA lab familiarity are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or MT with equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of QC/QA as applied to clinical diagnostic testing.
• Experience with clinical lab procedures in CAP/CLIA-certified labs.
• 1-3 years experience in a related role.

Responsibilities

• Receive and manage biospecimens from LHC sites into Nemours Biobank (BMAP).
• Prepare and track biospecimen shipments to investigators under approved protocols.
• Catalog biospecimens and complete related paperwork and data entry.
• Prepare reports of biospecimens received/shipped and maintain budgets/regulatory docs.
• Develop SOPs with BMAP leadership and collaborators; order supplies as needed.
