Job summary

KIHOMAC is seeking a skilled engineer to support the development, integration, and testing of wearable and biosensor technologies for DoD applications. The role focuses on physiological monitoring systems, sensor integration, and human performance in operational environments.

The candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and 5+ years of experience in wearables, sensors, and lab testing, with preference for experience in regulated environments and DoD or research labs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in relevant engineering or science discipline required
• 5+ years of professional experience in the required task area
• Experience with wearable devices, biosensors, or physiological data required
• Experience in test, validation, or lab environments required
• Experience in regulated environments (FDA, ISO, ASTM) preferred
• Knowledge of human performance or medical systems preferred
• DoD or research lab experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Support the development, integration, and testing of wearable and biosensor technologies for DoD applications
• Focus on physiological monitoring systems, sensor integration, and human performance applications in operational environments
• Support prototype development and validation activities
• Assist with transition of technologies to operational use

• Support the development, integration, and testing of wearable and biosensor technologies * Support development and testing of physiological monitoring systems * Conduct analysis of sensor performance and data outputs * Support prototype development and validation activities * Assist with transition of technologies to operational use * Other duties as assigned This position is contingent upon contract award. Requirements Education/Training: * Bachelor's Degree in relevant engineering or science discipline required Experience: * 5+ years of professional experience in the required task area * Experience with wearable devices, bionsensors, or physiological data required

• DoD or research lab experience preferred Security: * Must be a US citizen
• Physical Requirements: * Able to occasionally reach with hands and arms
• Prolonged periods of computer screen use, while sitting or standing at a desk
• Adhere to safety protocols when in work areas requiring use of PPE (e.g. eyewear, gloves, masks, hearing protection, steel toed shoes, etc.)
