Job summary

Begell House Inc. is seeking a cybersecurity professional to support secure system architecture and RMF compliance for wearable and sensor-based systems. You will focus on strategy, risk assessment, and accreditation activities while aiding RMF processes such as IATT, ATO, and SSP.

Ideal candidates will have 2+ years of experience in RMF, DoD cybersecurity, and knowledge of NIST IA principles. Embedded systems experience is preferred, and a Top Secret clearance may be required for this contract

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in relevant engineering or science discipline is required.
  • Security certifications (e.g., Security, CISSP) preferred.
  • 2+ years of professional experience in the required task area.
  • Experience with RMF and DoD Cybersecurity processes required.
  • Knowledge of NIST frameworks and IA principles required.
  • Experience supporting ATO/IATT efforts required.
  • Experience with embedded or sensor-based systems preferred.

Requirements

Physical Requirements
  • Able to occasionally reach with hands and arms
  • Prolonged periods of computer screen use, while sitting or standing at a desk
  • Adhere to safety protocols when in work areas requiring use of PPE (e.g. eyewear, gloves, masks, hearing protection, steel toed shoes, etc.)
  • Able to safely lift and carry up to 20 pounds at a time

Salary

Salary: $120,000 - 145,000 Salary rates for this position are competitive and commensurate with experience and industry standards. We offer a comprehensive benefits package that may include health insurance, paid time off, and retirement savings options.
