Job summary

Axle is hiring a Project Manager to provide specialized scientific operational planning for the Office of Operations Management, DIR, and Rocky Mountain Laboratories. You will coordinate facility planning, high-containment laboratory support, and campus-wide research infrastructure projects.

The role requires laboratory experience, strong communication, and the ability to design or improve tracking tools for scientific equipment programs, ensuring alignment with safety policies and research

Qualifications

• BS/BA in Biological Sciences or related field.
• Familiarity with laboratory workflow and high-containment facility requirements.
• Experience in scientific facility planning, equipment lifecycle management, and program development.
• Ability to design or support development of tracking applications or digital management tools.
• Demonstrated ability to coordinate multidisciplinary stakeholders and communicate requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide scientific operational planning support for OOM/DIR/RML.
• Coordinate facility planning, operational program development, and high-containment laboratory support.
• Assist campus master planning and facility modernization efforts.
• Develop and manage tracking applications for equipment programs and cert tracking.
• Coordinate with ORF/ORS/OWS to align programs with capacity and planning.
• Prepare briefing materials and status reports for senior leadership.
