Job summary

Triumvirate Environmental is seeking a Biosafety Consultant to join our consulting and embedded services team with a focus on biosafety. You will help research, clinical, and manufacturing clients keep their science moving: building biosafety programs that hold up to regulatory scrutiny, lower the cost of compliance, and allow new work to start on schedule.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, or related fields.
• Experience with biosafety concepts and laboratory compliance.
• Ability to write reports for a client audience and explain risks clearly.

Responsibilities

• Inspect laboratories and containment spaces against biosafety guidelines and document findings.
• Evaluate containment practices, PPE, and ventilation with bench personnel.
• Identify exposure risks and recommend controls spanning containment and PPE.
• Investigate incidents and recommend corrective actions including regulatory notifications.
• Deliver biosafety training to researchers and staff.
• Prepare risk assessments, IBC records, and SOPs.
• Develop biosafety manuals and exposure control plans.
• Scope engagements, run discovery, and produce client-ready deliverables.
• Present findings to EHS leadership and laboratory management.
