Job summary

Moffitt Cancer Center in Florida is seeking a Supervisor TCC IIT Biorepository Operations to lead day-to-day biospecimen workflows, ensure quality, and collaborate with the Tissue Core management team. You will hire, train, and mentor staff, oversee budgeting, develop SOPs, and guide expansion at satellite locations to support investigators.

This role requires a Master’s in science or equivalent with substantial biologic-science experience; advanced certifications are a plus; competitive

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Science related field with 5 years' technical experience including 2 years as a project team lead; OR 10 years' biologic science experience.
• Knowledge of biologic research, analysis and testing.
• Experience in customer service-oriented laboratory/facility.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day activities of the TC-TCC section.
• Develop and implement SOPs for biospecimens and study aims.
• Hire, train, mentor and supervise assigned staff.
• Provide daily oversight of financial management of cost centers.
• Lead expansion laboratories at satellite locations.
