Qualifications

• PCR experience in biological science
• Experience following SOPs across molecular techniques
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint or equivalent tools
• Familiarity with Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS)

Responsibilities

• Performs non-research biological science work in various public health areas.
• Ensures CDC Biorepository samples are processed with proper cold-chain and chain-of-custody during disposition steps.
• Utilizes LIMS to enter data accurately and assist with record updates as needed.
• Assists in sample storage consolidation and expansion planning.
• Prepares routine reports with charts, graphs, and spreadsheets to track metrics and maintain detailed records.
