Job summary

MnSP in Brewster, Minnesota is seeking a Biorefinery Operator for our night shift to help run the refinery and biodiesel operations safely and efficiently. This role features 12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM on a rotating schedule, with starting pay of $20/hour plus a $2/hour night premium and potential for advancement.

You will monitor production equipment, perform adjustments, test quality, document results, and maintain logs, working closely with a collaborative team to keep processes

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong commitment to safety.
• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
• Ability to follow procedures and accurately document information.
• Good problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Previous manufacturing, production, industrial, or biorefinery experience is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and operate production equipment.
• Make equipment and process adjustments as needed.
• Perform quality testing and collect samples.
• Monitor production processes and equipment.
• Identify and report equipment issues.
• Complete safety inspections and production logs.
• Perform basic equipment maintenance and housekeeping.
• Work closely with your team to maintain safe and efficient operations.
